Toyin Akinosho on CRP

Akinosho on CRP
Nigeria's foremost literary critic Toyin Akinosho compares our pan-African ambitions to that of the African Writers Series. How flattering to be placed in such illustrious company. Still, there is much to be done before our list has the breadth and depth of the AWS.

  • I noticed that too. But that has nothing to do with editing and besides it was not whole chunk just a page or two. It looks more like typesetting error. But it did not really affect the reading. This is a young company, let’s not malign them about this. I have noticed many a grammatical error in books published in the West and no one says anything about them. Kudos to cassava republic and I am happy to hear that you are now in Ghana.

  • The editing of ‘The Cloth Girl’ was not good. Whole chunks of the book were cut and placed 3-4 pages ahead of the page one was on.

  • Good to see ‘Cloth Girl’ has joined other Cassava Republic titles on the shelves of the Silver Bird Bookshop, Shoprite, Accra.

    Hope it flies off them.
