Attendees of the Lagos Book & Art Festival were given a sneak preview of Cassava Republic Press’s new romance imprint on Saturday, when CRP publisher Bibi Bakare-Yusuf and Ankara Press author Amara Nicole Okolo took part in a lively panel discussion entitled ‘Romance in the Digital Age’. The panelists discussed how digital publishing has changed reading and purchasing habits of readers around the globe, stimulating an energetic debate about how and whether the content of romance novels can reflect the realities of African society.
