African Feminist, Molara Ogundipe, turns 70

Molara Ogundipe, one of the foremost scholars on African feminism, gender studies and literary theory, celebrated her 70th birthday earlier this month with a lecture on the role of African women in the continent's development.

She sat down with NEXT reporter Bunmi Ajiboye to talk about her career, her ideas and what it means to be a modern African woman.
