New Yorker reviews Teju Cole's latest

Cassava Republic author, Teju Cole, has just gotten a lovely review of his latest book "Open City," in The New Yorker magazine.

It is described as a "beautiful, subtle, and, finally, original novel." A fine blend of diary, autobiography and prose.

It is only to be expected from Cole, whose first book, "Every Day is for The Thief," is a striking portrait of Nigeria in change told through a series of cinematic portraits of everyday life in Lagos. For a copy of the book visit our website.

  • May be I should be on the look out for this.
